He originally entered the NFL as a fifth-round selection (103rd overall) by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the 2016 NFL Draft. In addition to Jacksonville (2016-17), Day played stints with the San Francisco 49ers (2017-19), Indianapolis Colts (2020) and Cleveland Browns (2021-22), before signing to Minnesota's practice squad for the first time on Dec. 14, 2022. In his seven-year NFL tenure, Day has appeared in 67 games, making three starts, and recorded 76 tackles, including 14 for loss, 7.0 sacks and seven passes defensed.
