Biography

Blake Cashman joins the Vikings following two seasons with the Houston Texans (2022-23) and three seasons with the New York Jets (2019-21). Originally selected by the Jets in the fifth round (157th overall) of the 2019 NFL Draft, Cashman has appeared in 44 games in his career, starting 21, and recorded 181 total tackles, including 16 for loss, 5.5. sacks, one interception, eight passes defensed and three fumble recoveries. A native of Eden Prairie, Minn., Cashman played his collegiate career at Minnesota from 2015-18 and was named Second-Team All-Big Ten by the media following the 2018 season.
