Biography

• Set school record for a season with 111 catches in 2019, ranks 2nd in a season for receiving TDs (18) and 3rd in a season in yards (1,540) and finished LSU career ranked 3rd in receiving TDs (24), 5th in receptions (165), 6th in receiving yards (2,415) in 35 games (27 starts). Tigers went 25-3 in final 2 seasons, including 15-0 National Championship run in 2019.

• Only LSU player drafted in the 1st round in Vikings history.

• The last LSU WR selected in the 1st round was Odell Beckham Jr., taken 12th by the NY Giants in 2014.

• The Vikings highest-drafted WR since Percy Harvin was taken 22nd out of Florida in 2009.

OFF THE FIELD

• Donated 10,000 masks to Children's Minnesota- St. Paul Hospital during Covid19 pandemic.

• Majored in sport administration.

• Qualified for the Punt, Pass and Kick national championship at 9 years old, placing 3rd.

• Brother of two former LSU starters – QB Jordan Jefferson (2008-

11) and New Orleans Saints DB Rickey Jefferson (2013-16). Jordan is currently coaching at Colorado State.

• Father, John, played college basketball at Nebraska Western and NE Louisiana.
