Biography
Curtis Weaverjoins the Vikings after being released from Cleveland's practice squad on October 4, 2022. Weaver was originally drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the fifth round (164thoverall) of the 2020 NFL Draft. The third-year outside linebacker has appeared in one career game for Cleveland, playing in six snaps on defense and tallying one tackle against Cincinnati. Weaver played in 41 games at Boise State (2016-19), totaling 128 tackles (72 solo) 46.5 tackles for a loss, 34.0 sacks, eight passes defensed, three forced fumbles, two interceptions and one fumble recovery. The Long Beach, California, native ended his collegiate career at the Mountain West's all-time sack leader and second in Boise State history in sacks. Weaver teamed with Vikings G Ezra Cleveland and RB Alexander Mattison at Boise State from 2016-19.
