Biography
Troy Reeder joins the Vikings for this fifth NFL season in 2023 after spending the first four years of his career in Los Angeles with the Rams (2019-21) and Chargers (2022). Appearing in 66 career games with 25 starts, Reeder has totaled 223 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, 5.0 sacks, two interceptions and nine passes defended. Reeder has also played in seven playoff contests (five starts), compiling 36 tackles and two passes defended in the postseason, including winning Super Bowl LVI with the Rams. Reeder originally joined the NFL as an undrafted free agent in 2019 with the Rams after attending both Delaware (2016-18) and Penn State (2014-15) collegiately. Reeder and Vikings T Brian O'Neill, who are close friends and were high school teammates at Salesianum High School in Wilmington, Delaware, hosted a football clinic in their hometown last summer.
