Biography

• Recorded a career-high 6 INTs in 2019, tied for most in the NFL. Was the 1st Viking with 6 or more INTs since the 2005 season and just the 4th Viking to finish a season with a share of the NFL INT lead.

• The 2nd-highest rated safety in the NFL in 2019 (90.5 overall grade) according to Pro Football Focus, trailing only Justin Simmons of the Denver Broncos (90.8 overall grade).

• Scored 1st TD of his career at Seattle (12/2) by intercepting a batted Russell Wilson pass and returning it 20 yards for a score.

• Earned NFC Defensive Player of the Week honors after becoming the 15th player in team history to record 3 takeaways in a single game with 2 INTs and 1 FR vs. Atlanta (9/8/19).

• Took a leadership role on Vikings Social Justice Committee and promoted discussion o issues of equality in spring 2020.

OFF THE FIELD

• Earned degree in sociology in December 2014.

• Joined teammates and Vikings ownership in taking a group  of 50 Project Success students to the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum and African American History and Culture Museum in Washington, D.C. during the spring of 2019.

• Spoke alongside teammate Stephen Weatherly on a panel at the 2019 Unsung Heros Luncheon, addressing the issue of domestic violence.

• Helped host a pet adoption event at the Animal Humane Society in Golden Valley, where he decided to adopt 2 cats.

• Visited his alma mater, Lloyd C. Bird HS, to speak to students about success and making good choices in 2017 offseason.

• Supports and mentors AAU girls basketball team, Team Loaded, in Richmond, VA.

• Owns a Cyrotherapy business, CryoRVA, in Richmond area.

• His grandfather is an Army veteran.
