• Appeared in each of the Vikings first seven games of the season as a rookie in 2024, missing the final 10 games while on Injured Reserve.
• Recorded a pair of tackles in the Vikings home opener vs. San Francisco (9/15).

COLLEGE - WASHINGTON/OREGON

• In his six-year collegiate career (2018-23), spent four seasons at Washington (2018-21) before transferring to Oregon for two years (2022-23).
• At Oregon, played 25 games, tallying 36 total tackles, including 2.5 for loss, one pass defensed and one fumble recovery.
• At Washington, appeared in 29 games, recording 71 total tackles, including 3.5 for loss, two passes defensed and one fumble recovery.
• Posted single-season career highs in 2021 in total tackles (43), tackles for loss (two) and passes defensed (two).

HONORS

• Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll (2019).

PREP - EAST (UTAH)

• Played for Coach Brandon Matich at East High School.
• Helped the Leopards to an 11-3 overall record.
• Named to the Deseret News 6A All-State First Team as guard.
• Advanced to the 6A State Championship.
• As a junior, East went 14-0, cruised to the 6A State Championship and a No. 18 final ranking in the USA Today National Top 25.
• Won the 6A State Championship as a sophomore in 2015, when the Leopards went 11-2.
• Spent time on varsity as a freshman.

OFF THE FIELD

• Has a daughter, Zayda Elizabeth Tukuafu Taimani, born in December of 2022.
• Worked at Amazon and drove for DoorDash to make ends meet during the offseason while a student-athlete at Washington.
• Known through most of his high school career by the last name Vakalahi.
