Biography
John Wolford (pronounced WOHL-ferd) joins the Minnesota Vikings following stints with the New York Jets, Los Angeles Rams, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Jacksonville Jaguars. He appeared in seven regular-season games (four starts) during his tenure with the Rams from 2020-22, winning two of the four games he started. Wolford also started the Rams postseason contest against the Seattle Seahawks in 2020 and was 3-of-6 passing for 29 yards before exiting the game with an injury. During the 2020-21 seasons in Los Angeles, Vikings Head Coach Kevin O'Connell and Offensive Coordinator Wes Phillips coached Wolford while part of the Rams staff.
