Biography

Bargas signs with the Vikings after spending the last two years on the club's practice squad. Bargas has played in two career games, moving to the Vikings 53-man roster as a standard elevation for games against the Saints (Dec. 25, 2020) and Lions (Dec. 5, 2021). The Boca Raton, Florida, native signed with Minnesota as an undrafted free agent out of North Carolina in 2020, as he transitioned to fullback from tight end once he joined the Vikings.

OFF THE FIELD

• Transitioned from collegiate TE to FB for the Vikings.

• Was offered several Division I scholarships for lacrosse.

PRO

• Moved to Vikings 53-man roster as a Standard Elevation off the practice squad on 12/24/20 for game the next day.

• Waived during roster cuts on 9/5/20 and signed to the Vikings practice squad on 9/6/20.

• Signed with the Vikings as an UDFA on 4/27/20.

COLLEGE

• Had a pair of TD catches during UNC career, vs. Mercer as a senior and Western Carolina as a junior.

• Caught 1st career pass in 2016 as a redshirt freshman from future Chicago Bears QB Mitch Trubisky.

• Played in all 48 games during his Tar Heels career, catching 21 passes for 189 yards and 2 TDs. Had 8 catches as both a sophomore and junior with career-high 80 yards as a junior.

• Capped senior season for the 7-6 Tar Heels with a win over Temple in the Military Bowl.

• As a redshirt freshman in 2016, Carolina went 8-5 and lost in the Sun Bowl to Stanford.

PREP

• Rated the #13 TE in the country by ESPN at St. Andrews High in Boca Raton, FL and the #23 TE in the nation by Rivals.

• Honorable Mention Class 3A All-State honoree as a senior.
