Biography
Hakeem Adeniji (pronounced uh-DENN-ih-gee) joined the Vikings on Aug. 31, 2023, signing to the practice squad. He was selected by the Cincinnati Bengals in the sixth round (180th overall) of the 2020 NFL Draft. He appeared in 39 games, including 15 starts at both left and right tackle in three seasons with the Bengals. A native of Garland, Texas, Adeniji spent his collegiate tenure at Kansas (2016-19), starting each of the Jayhawks 48 games during his career. The offensive lineman was named to the All-Big 12 First Team as a senior in 2019.
