Biography

• Joined Vikings as a free agent from the NY Giants for 2021 after starting all 64 games with the club.

• Since 2017, is tied with Grady Jarrett for the NFL lead in run stuffs (tackles on a run play that result in no gain or a loss of yardage) with 64 according to NextGen Stats.

• Named team captain in 2020 for the first time in his career.

• Was named to PFWA 2017 All-Rookie Team.

OFF THE FIELD

• Was the Giants' 2020 Walter Payton Man of the Year nominee and 2019 nominee for the NFL's Anything but Ordinary Player of the Year award.

• Kicked off Crucial Catch Month by visiting the American Cancer Society's Hope Lodge in New York, where families stay free of charge while receiving cancer treatments.

• During Salute to Service month, played video games with veterans through the Wounded Warrior Project as well as led the veterans on a tour of the facility.

• Joined several teammates and the Newark Bronze Shields, the African-American police officers association within the Newark Police Department, to host a discussion with high school student-athletes about the importance of academics, selecting college majors, academic demands of a college athlete, sports related occupations, and life after sports.

• Attended the Fuel Up to Play 60 Summit in Cleveland, Ohio, and encouraged nearly 300 student leaders from around the country about nutrition and physical fitness.

• A talented musician who plays piano, trumpet and the drums and an artist who excels at drawing with pencils.
