Vikings Sign Rookie WR Davion Davis to Active Roster, Waive CB Nate Meadors

EAGAN, Minn. — The Vikings on Saturday signed rookie receiver Davion Davis from the practice squad to the 53-man roster.

Minnesota waived cornerback Nate Meadors to free up the spot.

Davis joined the Vikings in May as an undrafted free agent. He was with the team throughout the preseason but released when the team cut its roster from 90 to 53 players at the start of the month.

The Vikings roster now has five receivers: Adam Thielen, Stefon Diggs, rookie Bisi Johnson, recent returnee Laquon Treadwell and Davis.
