CAREER NOTES

• Played five seasons (2016-20) for the Philadelphia Eagles, and has since spent time with the Indianapolis Colts (2021), Washington Commanders (2022), Los Angeles Rams (2023) and Kansas City Chiefs (2024).

2025 | MINNESOTA VIKINGS

• Started in each of the five games he appeared in during the 2025 season, completing 110-of-169 pass attempts (65.1%) for 1,216 passing yards, six touchdowns, five interceptions and an 85.8 passer rating. Spent Weeks 9-18 on Reserve/Injured.
• Completed 15-of-27 pass attempts for 144 yards, one touchdown and one interception in Week 8 at the Los Angeles Chargers (10/23) on Thursday Night Football.
• In Week 7 vs. Philadelphia (10/19), finished the game 26-of-42 for 313 yards and two interceptions. It marked his 26th career 300-yard passing game and second this season (Week 4 vs. Pittsburgh in Dublin). Also posted season-highs in rushes (four) and rushing yards (28).

It was just the sixth time in his NFL tenure he had thrown for at least 350 yards in a game.
• Wentz's 11 consecutive completions to start the game was a career high, topping his eight-straight completions against Atlanta on Nov. 13, 2016.
• Made his Vikings debut in Week 3 vs. Cincinnati (9/21), completing 14-of-20 passes for 173 yards, two passing touchdowns and a 129.8 passer rating. His 129.8 passer rating was the second highest of his career.

• Started first 12 games of the season, completing 251-of-437 pass attempts for 2,620 yards and 16 touchdowns, while recording 52 rushes for 326 yards and five touchdowns.

2019 | PHILADELPHIA EAGLES

• Started all 16 games, completing 388-of-607 pass attempts for 4,039 yards and 27 touchdowns, while rushing 62 times for 243 yards and one score.
• Finished the regular season as the only quarterback to throw a touchdown in all 16 regular-season games, leading the Eagles to an NFC East division title.

2018 | PHILADELPHIA EAGLES

• Missed the first two games and last three games of the season due to injury.
• In 11 games played, completed 279-of-401 pass attempts for 3,074 yards and 21 touchdowns, while logging 34 carries for 93 yards.

2017 | PHILADELPHIA EAGLES

• Started 13 games and led the Eagles to an 11-2 record before sustaining a season-ending knee injury in Week 14 against the Rams.
• Completed 265-of-440 pass attempts for 3,296 yards and 33 touchdowns, while rushing 64 times for 299 yards.

2016 | PHILADELPHIA EAGLES

• Set an all-time NFL rookie record with 379 completions, along with 607 attempts, 3,782 passing yards and 16 passing touchdowns.
• Rushed 46 times for 150 yards and two touchdowns.
• Became the fourth rookie in NFL history to throw for 3,500+ yards while completing more than 60 percent of their passes.
• His completion percentage of .624 was the third-highest mark by a rookie in NFL history.
• Threw for the fourth-most passing yards (3,782) in a single season in Eagles history.

COLLEGE - NORTH DAKOTA STATE

• Played five years (2011-15) at North Dakota State, where he posted a 20-3 career record as a starter and notched back-to-back FCS national titles.
• Finished his career ranking third in team history in passing attempts (612), completions (392), passing yards (5,115), touchdowns (45) and completion percentage (.641).
• As a senior in 2015, started six games before being sidelined with a wrist injury, returning for the national championship game where he went 16-for-29 for 197 yards and one touchdown against Jacksonville State.
• Started 16 games as a junior (2014), setting Bison single-season records in passing attempts (358), completions (228) and passing yards (3,111) while also throwing 25 touchdowns.
• Played in 11 games as a sophomore, completing 22-of-30 passes for 209 yards and one touchdown.
• Appeared in eight games as a freshman in 2012, completing 12-of-16 passes for 144 yards and two touchdowns.
• Redshirted in 2011.

• Also lettered in baseball.
• Graduated as Valedictorian of Bismark Century's Class of 2011.

OFF THE FIELD

• Son of Doug Wentz and Cathy Anhalt.
• Has a brother, Zach, who was a four-year starting pitcher and infielder for NDSU baseball.
• He and wife, Maddie, share four daughters - Hadley, Hayes, Hudson and Hunter.
• Majored in heath and physical education with a minor in psychology at NDSU.
