• Played for Gaffney High School where he was coached by Dan Jones.
• Helped lead Gaffney to a 6-1 record in his 2020 senior season, advancing to second round of SCHSL Class 5A State Playoffs.
• Finished fourth on the team with 31 tackles, three deflected passes and posted a team-leading 7.0 sacks for 34 yards.
• Led Indians to 10-4 record during his junior season in 2019, advancing to semifinals of SCHSL Class 5A State Playoffs.
• Finished with 70 tackles, including 17 for loss, and 8.0 sacks, along with 36 yards rushing.
• Logged seven tackles and 4.0 sacks, during 2018 sophomore season.
• Selected to the 2021 All-American Bowl, named 2020 South Carolina Mr. Football and to the 2019 SC Varsity All-State Second Team.

OFF THE FIELD

• Mom played basketball at Gardner-Webb University and owns program records for the Bulldogs.
• Started playing organized football when he was 5.
• Majored in housing management & policy at Georgia.
• Big fan of Jadeveon Clowney coming from the state of South Carolina.
