Spent two seasons in Washington (2022-23) and one season in Seattle (2024), prior to being traded to the Minnesota Vikings in April of 2025. Appeared in 20 games with 18 starts in his first three NFL seasons.

2023 | WASHINGTON COMMANDERS

Started all 17 games for the Commanders, attempting a league-leading 612 passes for 3,946 yards with 21 touchdowns and 21 interceptions.
His passing yardage ranked sixth in a season in Commanders history and his five rushing touchdowns rank second in a season for the club (Robert Griffin III, seven).
His five 300-yard passing games tied for third in the NFL, including a career-high 397 yard performance vs. Philadelphia.

2022 | WASHINGTON COMMANDERS

Started the one game he played as a rookie, going 11-of-19 for 169 yards, one touchdown and one interceptions.

COLLEGE - NORTH CAROLINA

Played three seasons at UNC (2019-21), appearing in 37 games.
Finished third in ACC history with 92 career passing touchdowns, marking the most all-time by a player in three or fewer seasons.
Also ranked fifth in touchdowns responsible for (111), eighth in total offense (11,292), fifth in passing yards (10,283), second in passing yards per game (277.9) and second in passing efficiency (164.2) in the ACC.
In 12 starts as a junior in 2021, recorded 217 completions for 3,056 yards, 24 touchdowns and nine interceptions. Added 183 carries for 828 yards and 11 rushing touchdowns.
In his sophomore season in 2020, started 12 games and posted 237 completions for 3,586 yards, 30 touchdowns, and seven interceptions.
Threw for 3,641 yards and 38 touchdowns as a true freshman in 2019, setting the FBS true freshman record and UNC school record with his touchdown pass total.

PREP - SUN VALLEY (N.C.)

Attended Sun Valley High School in North Carolina and was a consensus four-star prospect who was ranked the No. 2 player in the state, the No. 3 pro-style quarterback in the country, and the No. 87 overall player nationally by the 247Sports.
Finished his career by going 805-of-1,361 for 13,415 yards and 145 touchdowns, while rushing for 3,621 yards and 60 scores.
Set the North Carolina record for total yards with 17,036 and ranked second in state history in career passing yards.
Named 2018 North Carolina Gatorade Player of the Year following his senior year.
Tabbed North Carolina Offensive Player of the Year by USA Today, the AP, and the Charlotte Observer, and earned first-team all-state and All-Observer honors.
Led Sun Valley to a 10-3 record and a spot in the second round of the North Carolina 3AA playoffs as a senior, throwing for 3,240 yards and 36 touchdowns, while rushing for 1,392 yards and 17 scores.
Guided Sun Valley to an 11-4 record and a spot in the 3AA Regional Final as a junior, and went 225-of-382 for 3,372 yards and 36 touchdowns, while rushing for 1,594 yards and 24 touchdowns.
Led Sun Valley to an 8-4 record and a berth in the state playoffs as a sophomore. Tallied 3,217 yards and 38 TDs on 199-of-322 passing and 444 yards and 12 TDs rushing.
Added 3,586 yards and 35 touchdowns passing and 191 yards and seven touchdowns rushing as a freshman.
