Sloter signs with the Vikings after spending time on the Las Vegas Raiders practice squad in 2021. After playing the 2017 preseason with the Denver Broncos, Sloter was claimed by the Vikings where he primarily served as the third-string quarterback for Minnesota from 2017-18. Sloter was active for six games in 2017, but did not appear in any of those contests. Between his time with the Vikings and Raiders, Sloter had stops with the Arizona Cardinals (2019), Detroit Lions (2019) and Chicago Bears (2020). The Johns Creek, Georgia, native began his career at Southern Miss as a wide receiver before transferring to Northern Colorado and transitioning to quarterback. In his only collegiate season at quarterback, Sloter completed 197-of-318 passes for 2,665 yards and 29 touchdowns, while also rushing for three touchdowns. While at Southern Miss, Sloter was teammates with Vikings T Rashod Hill.
