A lot has changed this season since the first meeting between the Vikings and the Packers.
Minnesota's 23-7 victory at home against Green Bay in Week 1 laid the foundation for the Vikings run to an NFC North title and 12-3 record entering Week 17.
The Packers have been through an up-and-down season but have caught fire recently. After starting 4-8, Green Bay has won its past three games to remain in playoff contention.
Minnesota will travel to Green Bay for its second matchup of the season Sunday at 3:25 p.m. (CT) Sunday. The game will air on CBS.
The Vikings and the Packers have met 124 times, with Green Bay holding a 64-57-3 advantage in the series.
Let's see who the experts are picking to win the game:
Vikings 27, Packers 24 — Gregg Rosenthal, NFL.com
The battle of narratives collide when the team "no one wants to face in the playoffs" faces the team "worse than their record." The Packers defense has improved lately, but the Vikings are built to end this Green Bay story before it gets started. I'll believe the Vikings can lose a close game when it actually happens, and this is destined to be a close game.
Packers 31, Vikings 24 — Pete Prisco, CBS Sports
This is a huge game for the Packers. If they win out, they can be a playoff team. The Vikings still have a chance at the top seed in the conference. But survival is more motivating than a seed. The Packers lost to the Vikings earlier this year, but I thinkAaron Rodgerswill have a field day against a bad Vikings defense. Packers win it.
Packers 27, Vikings 23 — Staff, Bleacher Report
The Green Bay Packers cannot afford to lose any more games. They must win out and get a little help to claim an NFC Wild Card spot.
Aaron Rodgers has done enough with a complementary run game to keep the Packers playoff hopes alive, but they will face a Minnesota Vikings squad that keeps finding ways to win close games.
Packers 30, Vikings 17 — Vinnie Iyer, Sporting News
The Vikings have been living on the edge but their "luck" in winning 11 one-possession games without a loss this season is residue of great offensive design and timely defense. Green Bay is feeling it with Aaron Rodgers, and this is a get-well game for its passing and running games at Lambeau. The Packers will be relentless to rip their rivals and set up a revenge playoff-clinching scenario in Week 18 vs. the Lions.
Packers 28, Vikings 24 — Bill Bender, Sporting News
Aaron Rodgers is trying to lead the Packers to a last-minute playoff run, and it runs through the NFC North teams they lost to the first time around. How much will Lambeau Field make a difference? Green Bay is 15-0 in December under [Packers Head Coach] Matt LaFleur. If they want to add to that, they better find a better defensive plan against Justin Jefferson – who had 184 yards and two TDs in the first game and has three straight 100-yard games to his credit.
Packers 28, Vikings 20 — Michael David Smith, Pro Football Talk
The Packers are playing excellent football right now and would be a very dangerous Wild Card team if they make it. They'll take a step closer on Sunday.
Vikings 30, Packers 27 — Mike Florio, Pro Football Talk
Weather shouldn't be much of an issue, and Minnesota surely realizes the value of knocking a division rival out of the playoff hunt. Yes, another close win for the Vikings.
