EAGAN, Minn. — The Minnesota Vikings (8-2) on Friday ruled out tight end Josh Oliver for Sunday's Week 12 game at the Chicago Bears (4-6).
Oliver has been playing through a wrist injury, but he suffered an ankle injury last week at Tennessee.
He has started all 10 games for Minnesota in 2024 and already has career highs for a season in receiving yards (216) and touchdowns (3) with 19 receptions on 22 targets.

Oliver also has been credited by Head Coach Kevin O'Connell for his physicality and "play style" when helping Minnesota's running game.
The Vikings also listed outside linebacker Gabriel Murphy (knee) and tight end Nick Muse (hand) as questionable. Murphy and Muse are in their 21-day evaluation windows. Either is eligible to be activated at any time during the window, but a corresponding move would be required.
The other players on Minnesota's injury report this week — defensive lineman Jonathan Bullard (toe), quarterback Sam Darnold (foot) and running back Aaron Jones, Sr. (ribs) — did not receive designations and are expected to be available.

Bears Injury Report
Chicago ruled out offensive lineman Ryan Bates (concussion) and defensive back Elijah Hicks (ankle).
The Bears added receiver Keenan Allen (ankle) to their injury report Friday as a limited participant. He is questionable, along with offensive lineman Kiran Amegadjie (calf) and running back D'Andre Swift (groin).
Offensive lineman Teven Jenkins (ankle) and tight end Marcedes Lewis (rest) did not receive a designation. Both are expected to play.
