Michael Gonzalez joins the Vikings after being claimed off waivers following his release by the Atlanta Falcons. The Indian Trail, N.C., native appeared in 51 games (32 starts) in four seasons at Louisville. In 2024, he earned All-ACC honorable mention accolades after starting all 13 games at left guard and helping the Cardinals offense average 449.2 yards per game and 185.2 rushing yards per game. Gonzalez started all 13 games at left guard in 2023, contributing to an offense that recorded 31 rushing touchdowns, the second most in the ACC.
