Biography
Max Pircher, a native of Bressanone, Italy, joins the Minnesota Vikings through the NFL International Player Pathway (IPP) program. He originally entered the league in 2021 and has spent time on the practice squad with the Los Angeles Rams (2021-22), Detroit Lions (2023), Seattle Seahawks (2024) and Washington Commanders (2025) in his career. During Pircher's first season in Los Angeles, Vikings Head Coach Kevin O'Connell was the Rams offensive coordinator as the team defeated the Cincinnati Bengals in Super Bowl LVI.
Established in 2017, the NFL International Player Pathway (IPP) program aims to provide elite athletes from around the world the opportunity to earn a spot on an NFL roster and increase the number of international players in the league.
