Jarod Washington

Jarod Washington, an undrafted free agent out of South Carolina State, participated in rookie mini camps with both the Kansas City Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2026. Washington played two seasons at South Carolina State, helping the Bulldogs to back-to-back Celebration Bowl appearances, capturing the title in 2025 by defeating Prairie View A&M in four overtimes, 40-38. That season, he appeared in 12 games (11 starts) and recorded 33 total tackles, including one for loss, two interceptions, 22 passes defensed and one forced fumble and was named First-Team FCS Football Central All-American. Washington began his collegiate career at Hocking Community College before transferring to Benedict College.
