Biography

Fabian Moreau (pronounced FAY-bian Mor-ROW) returns to Minnesota for his second stint with the Vikings after spending the 2025 preseason with the San Francisco 49ers. In his first season with the team in 2024, Moreau appeared in seven games, primarily seeing action on special teams. He was originally selected in the third round (81st overall) by Washington in the 2017 NFL Draft out of UCLA, playing the first four seasons of his career in Washington (2017-20), including three years while Vikings Head Coach Kevin O'Connell was the club's quarterback coach (2017-18) and offensive coordinator (2019). Moreau played the 2021 season with the Atlanta Falcons and the 2022 season with the New York Giants. In his lone season in New York, he started 11 of the 14 games he appeared in and recorded a single-season career best in total tackles (66). He also started both Giants postseason contests, registering four total tackles. He spent the 2023 season with the Denver Broncos. A native of Fort Lauderdale. Fla., Moreau has seen action in 113 regular-season games in his career, making 56 starts, and has posted 305 total tackles, seven interceptions and 43 passes defensed.
