OFF THE FIELD

• Father, who had a master's degree in civil engineering and served in the U.S. Army for more than 20 years, including as a drill sergeant, died in March of 2020, 10 months after suffering a stroke.
• Among the tattoos on Chambliss' arms, has a father-and-son fishing scene on his right bicep.
• Started playing football when he was just 5 years old.
• Played baseball growing up and got into track when he was in high school.
• Loves anything in the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.
• Majored in psychology.
