• Marian went 11-1 in 2016, advancing to 2nd round of NAIA playoffs, topping Robert Morris before loss to Eastern Oregon.
• Went to tiny Class 1A Carroll High in Flora, IN, the smallest class in Indiana, and had 70 students in his class.
• Named Class 1A All-State in football as a junior and senior and All-Area both years in basketball along with being a standout in baseball.
