• Played at Bakersfield Christian for head coach Darren Carr.
• Consensus top-15 TE ranked No. 12 by ESPN and No. 13 by 247Sports and PrepStar.
• Totaled 49 catches for 741 yards and 11 touchdowns offensively and made 81 tackles, including 24 for loss, 22 sacks, five forced fumbles and one interception as a senior in 2019.
• Caught three touchdowns in his final high school game to secure the 2019 CIF Division 3-A State Championship, the first in school history.
• Recorded 329 yards and four touchdowns on 27 receptions as a junior in 2018 and added 82 tackles, including 15.5 for loss, and 15.5 sacks.
• Registered 35 catches for 346 yards and three touchdowns offensively with 64 tackles, including 20 for loss, and 13 sacks as a sophomore in 2017.
• Two-time County Defensive Player of the Year (2018-19), two-time all-state first team (2017-18) and three-time all-league first team (2017-19).
• Also competed in basketball.

OFF THE FIELD

• Son of Derek and Kellie Yurosek.
• Father played football at Colorado State and mother played volleyball at Colorado State.
• Has four siblings, Sophia, Calvin, Owen and Vivian.
• Great-grandfather, Mike Yurosek, is credited with inventing the baby carrot.
• Growing up, played soccer and basketball, was a swimmer, and picked up lacrosse while living in Washington for five years.
• Family owns horses, cows and chickens.
• Got engaged to his fiancee, Lexi Reynish, on Feb. 16, 2025.
