EAGAN, Minn. — The Vikings on Friday listed running back Dalvin Cook as questionable for Sunday's Week 3 game against the Seattle Seahawks.
Cook suffered a stinger and then an ankle injury in Minnesota's 34-33 loss at Arizona last week.
He was listed as "did not practice" on Wednesday and Thursday but expressed optimism earlier in the week.
"We'll see. He's much better," Vikings Head Coach Mike Zimmer said Friday when asked about Cook's status. "He did some [activities Friday]."
The Vikings ruled out LB Anthony Barr (knee), Christian Darrisaw (groin) and Harrison Hand (hamstring). Hand was activated before Friday's practice from the Reserve/COVID-19 list. No other players on Minnesota's injury report received a designation.

Zimmer said he felt "good" about Barr's progress, even though the linebacker's return to game action continues to be delayed. Barr missed all but six quarters of action in 2020 because of a torn pectoral muscle.
Darrisaw, a first-round pick who has been working his way back from a college injury.
"He started taking team reps this week, so it's a process," Zimmer said. "He took some team reps this week. He got about three reps a period. Next week, we'll get him going a little bit more and see where it's at."
Zimmer said Hand had been a close contact of someone who tested positive for COVID-19.
Seattle's injury report: The Seahawks ruled out WR D'Wayne Eskridge (concussion), RB Rashaad Penny (calf) and T Brandon Shell (ankle).
LB Benson Mayowa (neck) is questionable.
