EAGAN, Minn. — Vikings defensive tackle Michael Pierce won't be able to face his former Ravens teammates in the heat of battle.
Minnesota's 2020 addition who played his first four pro seasons with Baltimore was ruled out Friday ahead of the noon (CT) Sunday matchup.
Pierce has been dealing with an elbow injury since leaving Minnesota's Week 4 game against Cleveland. He had suffered the initial injury during a practice before that game.
Linebacker Anthony Barr (knee) and cornerback Cameron Dantzler (ankle) were listed as questionable after practicing as limited participants on Thursday and Friday.
None of the other Vikings on this week's injury report — defensive tackle James Lynch (toe) and Dede Westbrook (ankle) — received a designation.
Defensive end Everson Griffen and safety Harrison Smith appeared on Minnesota's initial injury report of the week after getting "resting veteran" days on Wednesday.
Smith did not participate Friday. Groin was added to his injury description.

Baltimore's Friday injury report: The Ravens listed former Vikings RB Latavius Murray (ankle) and G Patrick Mekari (ankle) as doubtful.
Defensive tackle Brandon Williams (shoulder) and receivers Sammy Watkins (thigh) and Rashod Bateman (groin) were listed as questionable.
Bateman, the 2021 first-round pick out of the University of Minnesota, was added to the injury report Friday.
