EAGAN, Minn. — The Vikings on Friday did not place injury designations on four players for Sunday's game at Chicago and listed running back Kene Nwangwu as questionable.
Nwangwu was Designated to Return from Injure Reserve on Wednesday, opening a 21-day window in which the team can evaluate him. He's been sidelined so far this season with a back injury that occurred in training camp.
"We'll talk a little bit at one point we'll be bringing him back on the roster, have some conversations about that, but more than likely, it will not be for this week," Vikings Head Coach Kevin O'Connell said.
The other four players on the report this week — receiver Jordan Addison (ankle), cornerback Akayleb Evans (knee), safety Lewis Cine (hamstring) and outside linebacker Marcus Davenport (elbow) — did not receive designations and are expected to be available for the noon (CT) kickoff at Soldier Field.
