Vikings vs. Bears Updated Week 12 Injury Report

EAGAN, Minn. — The Vikings on Saturday listed receiver Justin Jefferson (hamstring) and cornerback Akayleb Evans (calf) as questionable for Monday's Week 12 home game against the Chicago Bears.

Jefferson has missed the past six games as he's been recovering from an injury suffered against the Chiefs in Week 5.

Minnesota (6-5) has won five of six games in the All-Pro's absence.

Evans suffered a calf injury in Week 10 that kept him from playing last week.

Jefferson spoke with media members on Friday, **providing an update**. He is in a 21-day observation window that began Nov. 8 as part of his return from Injured Reserve.

"Justin was limited. We ramped up his work all week long. He'll go in as questionable," O'Connell said. "He took part in some team reps, consistent work here and there."

The Vikings added defensive lineman Khyiris Tonga (knee) to the injury report Saturday and listed him as questionable against his former team.

The other players on Minnesota's injury report — linebacker Brian Asamoah II (ankle), tight end T.J. Hockenson (ribs) and quarterbacks Nick Mullens (back) and Jaren Hall (concussion) — did not receive a game status designation and are expected to be available.

Kickoff is scheduled for 7:15 p.m. (CT) Monday at U.S. Bank Stadium.

The Vikings would have to activate Jefferson to their 53-man roster by 3 p.m. (CT) Monday in order for him to play against Chicago (3-8). Minnesota will be on its bye in Week 13.

Nov. 27 UPDATE: The Vikings ruled out Jefferson.
