Biography

Myles Gaskin returns to Minnesota for a second stint with the Vikings in 2023, previously spending time on the roster in Weeks 1-6 before signing to the Los Angeles Rams active roster on Oct. 18, 2023. Gaskin was selected by the Miami Dolphins in the seventh round (234th overall) of the 2019 NFL Draft. During his first four seasons in the league, Gaskin appeared in 38 games for the Dolphins, including 17 starts. He has tallied 1,355 yards rushing and seven touchdowns on 361 carries during his NFL tenure, adding 701 receiving yards and six touchdowns on 101 catches. A native of Lynnwood, Wash., Gaskin was a four-year starter at Washington during his collegiate career (2015-18) and was teammates with Vikings cornerback Byron Murphy Jr., from 2016-18. He saw action in 52 games, making 40 starts. Gaskin amassed 5,323 yards rushing and 57 touchdowns on 945 carries in his career, adding 65 receptions for 465 yards and five touchdowns. Gaskin concluded his career as the Huskies all-time leader in yards rushing (5,323), touchdowns rushing (57) and total touchdowns (62) and became the first player in Pac-12 history to record 1,000 yards rushing in four seasons.
