Biography
Groshek signs with the Vikings practice squad after spending the 2021 training camp with the Las Vegas Raiders. Groshek played 41 games with the Wisconsin Badgers from 2017-20, logging 235 carries for 1,116 yards and seven rushing touchdowns. The Amherst Junction, Wisconsin, native began his career at Wisconsin as a walk-on quarterback before transitioning to running back. His best rushing season came in 2018 when he rushed for 425 yards and one score, averaging a career-best 6.5 yards per carry. A two-time captain and four-time Academic All-Big Ten member, Groshek had a career day on the ground against Minnesota in 2020, rushing for 154 yards and a touchdown while leading Wisconsin to an overtime win.
