Biography

Gabe Brkic joins the Vikings as an undrafted free agent out of Oklahoma where he has handled the kicking duties for the Sooners since 2019, making 57 of 69 field goals and hitting 159 extra points. Brkic was a Lou Groza Award finalist in 2021 and hit five kicks from over 50 yards, which was tied for most in the nation. As a redshirt sophomore, Brkic garnered All-Big 12 First Team honors, booting 20 made field goals in his 10 games played. During his first year as the primary kicker, Brkic went 17-for-17 on field goal attempts and 52-for-52 on PATs, making him the only placekicker nationally who made all of his field goal and PAT tries on the season.
