Biography
Joe Distor Jr. enters his second season with the Minnesota Vikings in 2026 as head strength coach after spending the 2024 season with the Los Angeles Rams as a strength and conditioning associate. In his role, Distor implements a holistic program to address all areas of athletic development, utilizing a variety of strength, speed, and power methods individualized to each athlete.
In 2025, Distor helped plan and execute a 10-day international road trip to Dublin, Ireland and London, England, as the Vikings became the first NFL team to play back-to-back games in two different countries. Alongside the player health and performance team, Distor helped successfully transition football operations overseas, maintaining the standards of care and support players receive during a typical game week.
