Alex Dale is in his fourth season with the Minnesota Vikings in 2024, second as a pro scout, after serving as a scouting associate from 2021-22. Prior to joining the Vikings, Dale was a personnel assistant at Arkansas where he was responsible for identifying high school prospects, managing the online recruiting databases and maintaining recruiting boards for coaches. He also oversaw the student worker program for recruiting and personnel and assisted in the operation of on-campus recruiting visits.

The Memphis, Tenn., native received his undergraduate degree in Leisure, Sports and Tourism from Middle Tennessee State in 2017, where he also played safety for the Blue Raiders football team from 2013-17. He appeared in 44 games and recorded 95 tackles and two interceptions. Following his graduation from MTSU, Dale joined the Austin Peay State football program as a defensive back and special teams graduate assistant to further his scouting knowledge.
