Sandra was born in Mexico City in 1971. Art became her passion from a very young age, being the daughter of a prominent architect who exposed her to all different kinds of art and architecture; she became fascinated with spaces, lines, shapes and creative problem solving. Moving to Minnesota in 1992, Sandra got my Bachelor Degree in Fine Arts from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design in 1995. She has worked as an art teacher for three years with kindergartners through six grade. She continued her studies in painting under Sally Brown, and currently has studio space in Northeast Minneapolis.
