Michael Shay began his graphic design studies at the College of Visual Arts (CVA) in St. Paul, Minnesota, in the fall of 2011. In the summer of 2013, Michael transferred to the Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD) in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in the graphic design program and graduated in May of 2015. Outside of school, Michael attends many gallery openings around the Twin Cities that include graphic designs and prints. Michael has interned in the marketing department at Viking Automatic Sprinkler in St. Paul for the past three summers. Michael was also an umpire for the Mahtomedi Youth Baseball Association during the summers of 2012 and 2013.
