Annie Hejny
Annie Irene Hejny studied at the University of St. Thomas and St. Catherine University, earning a double-major B.A. in Elementary Education and Studio Art. As a Minnesota-born visual artist, she intentionally explores the local environment to create abstract paintings and drawings. She has successfully completed nearly 50 commissioned projects for galleries, private collections, and public institutions, locally and nationwide. She has participated in several notable artist residencies, exhibited in many solo and group exhibitions and was a 2020 Minnesota State Arts Board Artist Initiative Grant recipient.
