EAGAN, Minn. — The Vikings on Saturday announced they have signed safety Myles Dorn to their 53-man roster from the practice squad and placed tight end Ben Ellefson on Injured Reserve.

Minnesota also announced it elevated receiver Dan Chisena and tight end Nick Muse from its practice squad.

Dorn has appeared in two Vikings games so far this season, totaling 22 snaps on special teams against the Packers and Lions. Dorn's signing follows Minnesota placing first-round draft pick Lewis Cine on Injured Reserve earlier this week.

Cine suffered a compound fracture while playing on special teams against the Saints in London last week. He underwent successful surgery in England.

Vikings Head Coach Kevin O'Connell said Ellefson suffered a soft tissue injury while working on special teams during Thursday's practice.

Muse, a seventh-round pick, could be poised to make his regular-season debut.

Chisena appeared in 25 games, primarily on special teams, for Minnesota from 2020-21 after joining the team as an undrafted free agent. He's poised to make his 2022 regular-season debut.
