The Minnesota Vikings announced the following players will be inactive for their Week 8 game of 2025 against the Los Angeles Chargers:
Quarterback J.J. McCarthy (third QB)
Fullback C.J. Ham
Outside linebacker Andrew Van Ginkel
Outside linebacker Chaz Chambliss
Tackle Brian O'Neill
Defensive lineman Elijah Williams

McCarthy will dress but only play if the Vikings suffer injuries to Carson Wentz, who will start against his first NFL team, and Max Brosmer.
Running back Aaron Jones, Sr., is back in the lineup after rehabbing a hamstring injury he suffered in Week 2 against Atlanta.
O'Neill is dealing with a knee injury, but left tackle Christian Darrisaw will be active.
