NFL Expert Picks: Pundits Project Another Vikings Nail-Biter in Week 3

The Vikings are 0-2, but they have lost by a combined four points.

Minnesota will look for its first win Sunday as it hosts Seattle. Kickoff is at 3:25 p.m. (CT).

Let's see who the experts are picking to win the game:

Vikings 30, Seahawks 27 — Gregg Rosenthal, NFL.com

One week after Bobby Wagner and Jamal Adams chased Derrick Henry around for 88 snaps, the Seahawks face a Vikings squad that found its Kubiakian road grader legs in Arizona. The cornerbacks for both of these teams should be attacked at will, and both quarterbacks are playing well, but I like the 0-2 Vikings to find a way in a high-scoring home opener. They have the better ground game and K.J. Osborn has provided a legitimate third receiver for Kirk Cousins.

Vikings 37, Seahawks 30 — Pete Prisco, CBS Sports

The Seahawks are coming off a tough loss to Tennessee at home, while the Vikings lost a tough one at Arizona. Both teams have defensive issues. That will lead to a shootout. That could be fun. First one to 35 wins. I will go with the Vikings.

Vikings 28, Seahawks 26 — Bill Bender, Sporting News

The Vikings have lost back-to-back heartbreakers because of field goals, and Kirk Cousins is 0-3 against the Seahawks since signing with Minnesota. Those last two games have been tight, however, and Seattle could slip up in another close one on the road. The Vikings avoid an 0-3 start.

Vikings 21, Seahawks 20 — Michael David Smith, Pro Football Talk

Two teams coming off heartbreaking losses will play one down to the wire, with the Vikings getting the close win this time.

Vikings 27, Seahawks 24 — Mike Florio, Pro Football Talk

Minnesota needs this one, badly. They finally get a home crowd. That will give the defense the boost it needs.

Seahawks 31, Vikings 26 — Staff, Bleacher Report

Russell Wilson is a perfect 7-0 in his career against the Minnesota Vikings, with his Seattle Seahawks covering the spread in all but two of those affairs. Wilson is the league's highest-rated passer entering Week 3, and there's little reason to believe he won't again take care of business with Seattle laying just 1.5 points in Minnesota Sunday.

Wilson has lost back-to-back games just twice in a 41-start span, and after his last home loss (Week 13 last season) he and the Seahawks torched the Jets 40-3.
