The Minnesota Vikings 2022 regular-season opponents were finalized by Week 18 results of two NFL games.
Minnesota and all NFC teams will be due to host nine home games in 2022, a year after playing nine road games in the league's first 17-game season.
Vikings Home Opponents: Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, Arizona Cardinals, New York Jets, New England Patriots and Indianapolis Colts
Vikings Road Opponents: Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Football Team, New Orleans Saints, Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins
Most Vikings opponents are based on annual home-and-away contests with division foes, as well as a rotation through an entire AFC division (East) and an entire NFC division (East). The AFC rotation cycles through every four seasons, compared to every three years within the conference.
Three games — against the Cardinals, Colts and Saints — were decided by respective order of finish.
Minnesota finished second in the NFC North, so it will play teams from the NFC West, AFC South and NFC South who finished in second in their divisions. The matchups with the Cardinals and Saints hinged on the Week 18 results.
