• Has been friends since boyhood with Chargers RB Melvin Gordon, a fellow 1st-round pick in 2015, going 4 choices later at #15 overall. The high school friends met on the field in Week 3 of their rookie campaigns when San Diego visited the Vikings and the duo will face each other again in the opening game at U.S. Bank Stadium on 8/28/16, the first-ever NFL game at the new Vikings home and the 3rd game of the 2016 preseason.
