• Is the highest-drafted DB in Vikings history and the 5th DB selected in the 1st round.

• Has been friends since boyhood with Chargers RB Melvin Gordon, a fellow 1st-round pick in 2015, going 4 choices later at #15 overall. The high school friends met on the field in Week 3, of their rookie campaigns when San Diego visited the Vikings and the duo faced each other again in the opening preseason game at U.S. Bank Stadium on 8/28/16, the first-ever NFL game at the new Vikings home and the teams' 3rd game of the 2016 preseason.
