Vikings Sign QB Kyle Sloter To 53-Man Roster

On Saturday the Vikings announced that the club has signed QB Kyle Sloter to the 53-man roster off of the practice squad. To make room on the roster, the team waived S Antone Exum Jr.

Sloter (Slow-dur) entered the NFL as a rookie free agent, signing with the Denver Broncos on 5/11/17. The John's Creek, Georgia native was released by Denver on 9/2/17 and signed to the Vikings practice squad on 9/4/17. Sloter began his collegiate career at Southern Mississippi as a WR and finished at Northern Colorado, where he made the transition to QB. Sloter finished the 2017 preseason with 413 passing yards, 3 TD and 0 INTs on 31-for-43 passing, totaling a 125.4 passer rating.
