On Tuesday the Vikings announced that the club has released WR Mike Wallace and waived T Austin Wentworth.

Wallace was acquired via trade from the Miami Dolphins last March and in his only season as a Viking caught 39 passes for 473 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Wentworth signed with the Vikings as a college free agent after the 2014 NFL Draft. He appeared in 7 games for the Vikings during the 2014 season.
