Kirk Cousins Tosses 200th Career TD Pass

MINNEAPOLIS — Vikings QB Kirk Cousins has thrown his 200th career touchdown pass.

The score — a 15-yard completion to Alexander Mattison — is his 101st in 52 starts with Minnesota.

Mattison caught the ball out of the backfield on a route over the middle and fought through tacklers for his second career touchdown catch (both have occurred against the Lions). It gave the Vikings a 13-3 lead over the Lions with 2:20 left in the first half.

The touchdown pass was Cousins' 16th against Detroit since joining Minnesota in 2018. He entered Sunday's game with a completion percentage of 73.6 and a passer rating of 128.6 in his previous six games against the Lions.
