Final Vikings-Steelers Injury Report: Thielen & Darrisaw Ruled Out

EAGAN, Minn. — Vikings receiver Adam Thielen and tackle Christian Darrisaw on Wednesday were ruled out for Minnesota's Thursday Night Football game against Pittsburgh because of ankle injuries.

Thielen suffered his injury early in Week 13; Darrisaw left Minnesota's Week 12 game at San Francisco.

Running back Dalvin Cook (shoulder), safety Camryn Bynum (ankle) and linebacker Blake Lynch (hip) were listed as questionable. Cook and Lynch were listed as limited for the past two practices; Bynum fully participated Wednesday.

None of the other Vikings on this week's injury report — linebackers Eric Kendricks (biceps), Anthony Barr (knee/hamstring) and Ryan Connelly (quadriceps), and cornerbacks Mackensie Alexander (ribs) and Bashaud Breeland (groin) — received a designation for the game.

That means that Kendricks and Barr are likely to be back in the middle of a Vikings defense after missing last week against the Lions in Detroit.

Steelers Wednesday injury report: Pittsburgh ruled out cornerback Joe Haden (foot), linebacker Robert Spillane (knee), guard B.J. Finney (back) and defensive end Isaiah Buggs (ankle). None of the four players participated this week.

Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger (pectoral/right shoulder), receiver Chase Claypool (toe), guard Trai Turner and defensive tackle Cameron Heyward were listed as full participants Tuesday and Wednesday and are expected to play. Turner and Heyward were only on this week's report as resting veterans.
