MINNEAPOLIS — The Minnesota Vikings announced the following players will be inactive for their Week 3 game of 2025 against the Cincinnati Bengals:
Quarterback Desmond Ridder (third quarterback)
Quarterback J.J. McCarthy
Receiver Tim Jones
Tackle Justin Skule
Center Ryan Kelly
Tight end Nick Vannett
Defensive lineman Elijah Williams
This means that tackle Christian Darrisaw and safety Harrison Smith are active for the first time of 2025.
Ridder, who signed this week, will dress but only play if Vikings quarterbacks Carson Wentz and Max Brosmer suffer injuries.
