EAGAN, Minn. — The Vikings on Monday announced the elevation of three practice squad players to the 53-man roster as COVID-19 replacements.

Safety Myles Dorn, receiver Myron Mitchell and cornerback Tye Smith were elevated roughly four hours before Minnesota (6-7) and Chicago (4-9) were set to renew their NFC North rivalry at Soldier Field on Monday Night Football.

Dorn has played exclusively on special teams in five games for the Vikings this season. He's handled at least 17 snaps with the unit in his past four games (Weeks 10-13).

Mitchell, an undrafted rookie, is poised to make his NFL debut. Receiver/punt returner Dede Westbrook and receiver/special teamer Dan Chisena are on the Reserve/COVID-19 list. Adam Thielen (ankle) was listed as questionable on Saturday's final injury report of the week.

Smith has appeared in two games for Minnesota, totaling 14 special teams snaps this season, but he has played in 42 regular-season games and made seven starts.
