Breast Cancer Awareness Game Recap

The month of October not only brings beautiful fall colors, pumpkin spice lattes, and perfect football weather, you will also find pink scattered across the NFL as it is Breast Cancer Awareness month. We honored this cause during our winning game against the Kansas City Chiefs this past weekend!

We found a few ways of incorporating pink into our performances during game day. Pink poms, pink ribbon boot covers, and a pink ribbon jersey were specially worn for the game. One of our end zone routines, choreographed by Captain Lauren, was an inspirational dance to Fight Song by Rachel Platten. We also helped pass out pink ribbons to the fans before the game and wore them proudly on the sidelines! It was so fun seeing survivors at the game, including a few familiar faces of fans we've met throughout the season at other Breast Cancer Awareness events. The MVC feel so strongly about this cause as it touches many people and we were happy we could dedicate the game, spreading awareness to this campaign.

Make sure to check out our photo gallery from the game!
