Vikings to Launch TV Mini-Series "Building A Legacy: U.S. Bank Stadium" This Saturday

*Eden Prairie, MN (August 13, 2015) –* The Minnesota Vikings will launch a new TV mini-series titled "Building a Legacy: U.S. Bank Stadium" this Saturday, August 15. The first show will air at 4:30 p.m. on KMSP FOX 9 and will re-air on Fox Sports North at to-be-determined times.

Designed to give an inside look at never-before-seen footage of the stadium's design and construction process, the show's first episode will catch up on the last 20 months of stadium construction, take viewers inside the stadium with Head Coach Mike Zimmer and look ahead to the final year of construction as U.S. Bank Stadium continues to take shape. Future episodes will provide a glimpse of the Minnesota companies and individuals working on the project, the impact the stadium will have on the broader community and the ultimate fan experience beginning in 2016. Interviews with key project individuals from the Vikings, the Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority, Mortenson Construction, HKS and others will be included.

The eight-part series will include seven 30-minute episodes set to air every other month and will conclude with an hour-long documentary after the first Vikings game is played in U.S. Bank Stadium in 2016.

"We're incredibly proud of U.S. Bank Stadium and the unprecedented experience it will provide for Vikings fans and all users," said Vikings Owner/President Mark Wilf. "With less than a year remaining until its opening, we want Vikings fans and the public to have a look behind the scenes and meet some of the individuals working on the largest project in state history."
